What We Do

…because every child deserves a home

  • We are boots on the ground to help homeless families and their children in Hamilton County. We do this in partnership with a full network of interfaith congregations, community nonprofits, civic groups, schools, individuals and businesses.

  • We try to never duplicate any family service in the county but partner with those providing them.

  • Our congregations provide temporary shelter and food for families.

  • We provide practical items: transportation, shower, laundry facilities, an address for families to get mail, computers for housing and job searches.

  • We provide mentoring services. Every family is different, so we develop a unique plan for each family, assessing where they have gaps (financial literacy, special rental needs, etc.) and work to bridge those gaps.

  • We provide follow-up services after a family finds housing to ensure they become financially stable.
